Family!
What an incredibly jam packed week!

Okay, so Monday we hung out by a cute river and the weather was so nice! Tuesday I got stung by a bee! We were talking to a lady at her door and I swatted a buzzing thing from my head and all of a sudden OUCH! So yeah that was an awkward getaway. We had a dinner appointment right after and they tried to help but I think it mostly just freaked them out :/ haha. Thankfully we had an appointment with a family right after and our joint teacher- (who was also our translator because it was a Spanish speaking family :D ) was an ER nurse. So right after the appointment he told us to get him some Buster Bars from DQ and stop by the ER to see what he could do about my finger. So yes, I went to the emergency room this week. He plucked out the stinger and but some cream on it and I was set to go :) I've been doing a lot of time in the doctor's office haven't I? I am so grateful to kind, generous members who take care of me.

Wednesday started out rough. K.P. bailed on an appointment which turned out to be more serious than we thought. However, at the very end of the day, we stopped by the home of a lady we have been trying to teach for a while and she let us in! We taught her whole family and they were so receptive :D Will everyone please pray for the progress of L, A and K?

Thursday we had district meeting and dinner with a part-member family- one we've been working with for a while. Suddenly their daughter is progressing! We need some major prayers for M, B and C. M. They are so close to entering into the covenant of baptism! If we all pray for them I know the Lord will answer our prayers!
Friday was a tough one. We didn't have a single lesson and spend most of the day on our feet,. and we had another bee sting-K.P. dropped us :( she said she was more comfortable at her church- but we think her friend said some not-so-nice things about us. Thankfully I have the best companion in the world and she kept us happy and positive and we laughed the whole day :)
Saturday another miracle of the one-more-door effect happened and we taught a mom and her son named A :)

Sunday we were having a great day when we suddenly, on the way to church, remembered that we were supposed to teach the Sunday School lesson on charity. It turned out awesome despite the last minute preparation! Charity is my FAVORITE of the Christ like attributes. The lesson was so inspiring! I know that true charity and love can chase away all disappointment and heartache and frustration. After church, we met a nice lady and then talked for a while with a guy who had a lot of skeptical questions but was willing to read the Book of Mormon. YAY!

Well everyone, I want to bear testimony that even though bee stings happen, when we look forward with pure gratitude and love, the Lord will give us peace and joy! I LOVE THIS WORK! :D
I love you all SO much and pray for you individually by name- you are my world and I am OBSESSED with you!!
haha
Love,
Sister Roberts
Hurrah for Israel!
