sick

LaCrosse, WI, My last area
 Not feeling my best
This week I got pretty sick with a sore throat. There is a sister in the ward that is SO kind- she brought all sorts of nice things today to help me feel better, even though she herself is recovering from a surgery. I have been continually reminded this week about how blessed I am. I keep thinking on it, and I realize that everything I've ever wanted in a mission has been given to me and more. I love Heavenly Father and can't express my thanks enough for His amazing grace.
There have been so many miracles this week. I'm especially grateful for being prompted to go to one of our far-away towns to see the members and try to find more people there. We were prompted to return something to an active member, and her son was there when we came. She had us stay for a little while and fed us macaroni. When her son left and we were about to leave, she told us that her son is actually a less active member and his wife isn't a member at all. It was such a tender mercy to see how God had led us there that day before he left to go home.
What a great week it's been!
Whoops, broke a doorbell
Monday we went hiking. Tuesday it rained a LOT and we were inspired to visit a less active sister and bring her cookies. Wednesday we were inspired to see another sister and show her the "Because He Lives" video, then we got to serve a sister who's sick by cleaning her WHOLE apartment! Thursday we almost lost the phone- turns out sister T. hid it in the sun visor... (?), but that's the day I started getting sick- probably cause it kept raining and I had to stomp through the water to try and find the phone. My feet got pretty wet... ha ha, that was dumb. Anyway, Friday we met a guy named J. and reconnected with a former investigator who is WONDERFUL! She's from Russia :) She's so cool!  She's got a 9 year old son who's interested too! WOO! Saturday we saw that lady in the far town and I got really sick so we took it easy for a while. Well, I took it easy while Sister T. cleaned the apartment. :P blech. Sunday was wonderful- we  had dinner with the W. family who made us Hawaiian haystacks.  They are just SO interesting- they know about a lot of really neat books. Then we helped the Elder's investigator-  a SUPER sweet Hmong lady I might have told you about already. We served her till I was ragged. Now my throat is pretty much toast :P but I think it's on the tail end so it's cool :)
A very protected house
I love you each individually for your amazing personalities and beautiful spirits! I can't wait to hang out with all of you and see how much you've grown :)
I love you ! Keep up the faith! Stay happy always and have patience one with another :)
I LOVE YOU!
Sister Roberts
